Parent Circles
Parenting can feel isolating — especially when you are questioning things that everyone around you seems to take for granted. Parent Circles are small group sessions where parents come together to slow down, reflect, and have honest conversations about family life.
Each circle is built around a theme, a question, or a short reading. Himmat brings a loose framework to each gathering and opens the floor to whatever is most alive in the room. These are not classes or lectures. They are conversations — a place to hear yourself think and be in the company of other parents who care deeply about family life.
Sessions are offered both online and in person in the Portland area. Each series runs across multiple sessions, and attending the full series is encouraged — themes build on each other and the group develops real continuity. Drop-ins are always welcome too.

Early Years Circle
For parents of children ages 0–7
The early years are a time of rhythm, warmth, and imitation — children at this stage absorb everything in their environment, which makes the tone and simplicity of home life especially powerful.
This circle offers a place to reflect on life with young children in a way that feels grounding and human. Conversations may touch on rhythm, sleep, tantrums, play, boundaries, overstimulation, and the desire for a home life that feels calmer and less hurried.
